Musicians Wanted!
The Nova Vista Symphony announces auditions for the following instruments:
All strings
We rehearse on Tuesday nights in San Jose (with occasional Wednesday string and wind rehearsals). Typically we play four major concerts each year, plus a children's concert and occasional other performances.
Auditions for the positions listed above will be held on an ongoing basis. Please contact the orchestra at personnel@novavista.org or by telephone at 408-624-1492 if you are interested in auditioning. Candidates will be asked to play an orchestral excerpt, which will be supplied in advance, and a short piece of their own choosing. Please be aware that we are a community orchestra and are not able to compensate our members financially.
